Making paints from the crayons is not that much of a big deal. Lots of methods could be used. One of the simplest methods is melting the crayons. Yeah, that’s all. Just gather some old crayons and sort them in similar colors. Put their broken pieces into your muffin pan. And later place them in the oven which was preheated to about 275 degrees. Take the pan out after 15-20 minutes and you have paint in your muffin pans. Start painting as soon as you take the pan out because the paint will cool down and then resume its solid state. While making paint from crayons is not much difficult, making the same paints from glue too is very easy. You just need to store gallons of white glue! To make the color glue, you need your regular white glue, liquid watercolors, and some empty squeezable bottles. You could also use food coloring to make your color glue. Once you have all of the ingredients, just put the white glue into an empty squeezable bottle. Further, add food color or liquid watercolor to it and shake the bottle until it’s mixed perfectly. You just need to peel off the covers from the crayons and heat the glue gun in the meanwhile. Once all the crayons are free of their covers, push them through the glue gun and start painting. This might require a bit of strength so better help your kid doing that.

Here is another method of making long-lasting crayon paints. You need cold water, flour, and a lot of salt. Make sure your kids don’t eat this! Add all these ingredients in a plastic bowl and stir them well. Whip them off until you get a smooth paste. Now, bring out those wax crayons that your kids no more use because they are too short! Now cut these crayons into small pieces and put them into other empty containers. Now heat up the water and pour a little amount of it in every container. Mix the water with the wax crayons until they are fully melted. Now your last step is to add that flour mixture to these melted crayons and voila! Your paint is ready.
