Metallic bits and pieces around the home like keys that you do not use, or spoons that are out of commission or stray metal bits can be arranged and tied together to be used as a wind chime. The one thing you have to make sure is that they all chime and do not have a flat note among them to make the sounds seem flat. Other materials that you can use include glass bits that are strong, beads that clink, small bells, shells, hollowed wooden pieces, ceramic bits and other bits and bobs.
